So many we lost count! We also saw some large Southern stingrays. Along the right toward the point, there is healthy coral and a great variety of fish.

Wonderful Showers!! This was a GEM! The showers are coin operated and the most amazing State Park Showers we have found. Hot, powerful and eco-friendly.
The views are amazing, picnic tables and restrooms available. The staff were super nice as were the campers and their pets.
Date of experience: December Lovely beach not dog friendly. This was our second trip glamping at Francis Beach.
The first time was perfect basically due to the fact that we were there during the week days and did not have a dog yet.
We went this year with our puppy and found that she was not allowed on the beach even with a leash. I understand because they are trying to preserve the wildlife but it is a factor if you are traveling with a canine companion.
We made due and rode our bikes down the fabulous long stretch of bike trail along the coast and found an area of beach less populated then smuggled her on it with a short leash.
