Good to have Chris Rebecca and Leon back. Animation is excellent and we'll paced. Action is good,franticly fast.
Only downside for me was Rebecca is shown as a Damsel in Distress which I don't think she is. Rebecca is very interesting intelligent and can take care of herself like she does in RE books and the RE zero and remakes unlike university scene, flopping about.
The music is best in film series. This is another well animated and interesting addition to the Resident Evil Brand. If you have seen the other animated films you will understand the style.
The story is not a surprise, an arms dealer with a grudge against the USA plans to unleash a new modification of the T-Virus on the population to make an army of monsters, and it is up to our heroes to stop them.
There are a couple of pretty creepy and well executed scenes towards the first half of this before it becomes a more action orientated thing but overall I did enjoy it and would recommend it to fans of Resident Evil The games or the animated movies.
It is important to note that it is absolutely nothing like the live action adaptations. While not as action or story orientated as previous CGI Resident Evil's this is still one to entertain you for its runtime.
The opening 20 minutes captures the audience rather nicely with some mystery and intriguing surrounding another 'mansion', and the last 40 minutes of the film features an outlandish boss fight and a daring highway chase, featuring zombie dogs, unfortunately the bits in the middle seem a bit disjointed and with a plot line that borrows from The Walking Dead if you know which part I mean I just felt this was a bit disappointing.

This film does leave you with questions like why did leon not mention ada once. Being a fan of resident evil since the first game, I knew exactly what to expect from the newest installment in the animated series.
This movie had me and some friends in stitches pretty much from start to finish. Visually, this is the nicest looking animated movie thus far and makes the most of it in some insane action scenes to rival the live action movies.
If you are looking for a well made film with compelling characters that has a lot to say for itself or something that recaptures the Resi roots of horror then this is not for you.
If however you have been riding the Resident Evil crazy train since it became an insane action series, then this movie will not disappoint!
You get to see some familiar faces With Mathew Mercer still gracing us as Leon with Rebecca making her first appearance since forever which is pretty nice.

With solid acting, great action, and fantastic technical wizardry, it sounds just like another "Matrix"-style ripoff.
But the biggest difference in "V" is that it is a story of real ideas - not a fantastic, science fiction creation, but a genuine examination of the human condition.
