Sara Sandoval Salma Hayek is the highly educated, wealthy daughter of the arrogant owner of the nearby properties, and has recently returned from Europe where she attended numerous grade schools and colleges in England, Spain, and France for several years.
At first, the pair's relationship is characterized by petty cattiness stemming in part from their different backgrounds, but under the tutelage of famed bank robber Bill Buck Sam Shepard they learn to trust each other.
During their crucial training session at the edge of a cliff, the two women test their strength by hanging from a metal bar over a wide river.
Sara voluntarily drops into the river and saves her. The two women put aside their differences and agree that, while they are not friends yet, they can at least work together as partners.
Angered by the recent attacks by two women, who are now known by the public as the "Bandidas", Jackson brings in a specialist criminal investigator named Quentin Cooke Steve Zahn.
He has already figured out that Sara's father was murdered and therefore discovers that his client is a criminal.

Verified Purchase. Okay, I fully admit that I bought this for Diego Luna. My copy came with an English language track. I don't know why they didn't have Diego do his own English for that.
The guy they picked had me in hysterics less than a minute in, and not in a good way. So don't bother with that track. As for the movie itself, I liked it for the most part, but it had some story elements that I thought were incredibly dumb.
The ending is incredibly unsatisfactory. Several of the characters die for absolutely no reason. They have money, lots of money, and yet they decide to just die instead of going to the hospital.
That pissed me off. I saw this movie a few years back and finally was able to purchase it. Watched it again and it's a rip roaring action packed movie with three strong woman and Diego Luna who plays sexy and vulnerable hit man to the tee.
The risks these three woman will go to rob a dealer is incredible. All around great movie that you can watch again.
I have seen virtually all of the Diego Luna movies which are available in North America. I have enjoyed all of them and this one is no exception.
It has some violence, but its not overly violent, because it actually tells a good story. If anyone knows a source for all his movies that can be viewed in N.
